THE STAR GODALMING

The popular Star Pub in Church Street Godalming is running the Wilfie Bar at the gig - and there'll be a tantalising choice of hot food to enjoy too!

The Star inspires regulars and attracts visitors from afar with their imaginative range of quality ales and ciders - and exciting events throughout the year including three beer festivals!

The Star is currently The Surrey & Hants Cider Pub of the Year for the fourth year running, and regularly wins awards - which last year included London & South East Cider Pub of the Year; finalist in the National Pub Awards; a runner-up in the Surrey Advertiser's Pub of the Year; has been featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for 22+ years. And last year The Star won Godalming in Bloom's Public House Category!

Not surprising perhaps given the pedigree of the management team. Owner Ian Thompson has run The Star for over 25 years (and ran The Red Lion for 20!). His manager partner Andy Mounsey, together with Ian's son Bert have continued to ensure The Star boasts a popularity envied by other pubs in the town. You'll get to meet some of the team at the gig - but make sure you drop by in the meantime. You'll find the pub's atmosphere totally infectious!
